How To Write Profit-Pulling Review PagesYou can make money online with AdWords ads that send traffic to sales pages for affiliate products. It's a great strategy that works shockingly well. But if you're a more experienced marketer, and you have your own site, there's an even more powerful approach. It involves creating review pages. To be even more specific, they're pre-sell pages, because that's what they're doing. Let me explain… A pre-sell page gets a visitor psychologically ready to buy the affiliate product you refer him to at the bottom of that pre-sell page. A page like this (literally one page) is the simplest website you can imagine, also called a "mini-site". We're talking about text, maybe a graphic or two and an affiliate link at the bottom. That's it. But what should be on this page? Actually, not what you might think. This page shouldn't sell at all! It should provide free, helpful, valuable information. That can be a short article (500-700 words) about a topic your targeted visitors are interested in. Maybe something like, "How To Lost 10 Pounds In 10 Days". At the end, point the visitor to the affiliate product you're promoting as a way to apply that free information. You get two benefits from having a page like this, instead of simply sending a visitor directly to an affiliate sales page:
Put a sign-up form on there, set up your autoresponder, and tell the visitor something like, "If you want more helpful information about [your topic], sign up for my free newsletter!" Then give him great additional information on a regular basis…and promote more affiliate products regularly (not all the time). It's a simple strategy, but it works like gangbusters. |
