AffiliateX FAQGeneral SupportI did not get a download link - or I am not sure if I ordered your product?Please read all of this answer. The first thing you should do is check your e-mail - including your "junk" or "spam" folder for an e-mail marked "Welcome to Affiliate X" or "Your Website is ready". This will give you your login information and explain the next step. That's the first thing you should do. Secondly, when you pay for one of our products via ClickBank you will be redirected to a signup page. Once you have entered your e-mail information you will be re-directed to the download page and you will be sent an e-mail with the download link inside to refer back to it as need be. You should return to this page and attempt to access your purchase again. If you did not get to the signup page, you should still have been sent a download link from ClickBank (inside the automated receipt they sent you). Your first port of call is to attempt to redownload the file via one of the above e-mails which link to the download page - in most cases you will be able to download the file from this link. If you have not received the link, and have not received an invoice from receipt@clickbank.com, then there is a good chance that you have not ordered (receipts are automatically sent out upon purchasing). That said, it's better to be sure - so please open a support ticket at the bottom of this page and include your name, e-mail address and the date you ordered, and we will do our best to locate your order - and provide you with access instructions if you have indeed ordered. Note: if you ordered either Affiliate X or Website X, you may want to read the below sections for more help on how to get started with these two products. I am trying to access the link in my download e-mail but it says "Our records indicate that you are already subscribed to this list." -- I can't access my product?If you're getting this message, it means you have already signed up to our list before. The good news is, this means we have already sent you the information - so please go to your e-mail account and look for any e-mails we will have sent you. Please be sure to check the "junk" or "spam" folders. You can also enter a made up e-mail (eg if your email is joe.hart@gmail.com, you could put joe.hart999@gmail.com), and you will be granted access to the page. But we strongly recommend you search for the email as it contains important information. Do you have an affiliate program to promote?Yes we do - you can access our affiliate program here. How do I get an affiliate account with ClickBank? How do I create a hoplink?In order to create a hoplink, you will need to setup a free ClickBank account, which you can do here. When you setup your account, you will choose your "ClickBank nickname". This is your account nickname, and you will use it to create hoplinks, as explained here. I have a support ticket for another product other than websitex or affiliatex - can you help?Probably not. Please be aware that we can only provide customer support for our own products - Affiliate X & Website X. If the product is not one of these (or some variation such as "Affiliate X Pro", "Auto Website X" or something similar), you will need to contact the product owner. The easiest way to find out how to contact them is to find your ClickBank receipt, click on the link inside the e-mail under "Vendor's site" and look for a support e-mail address on that page. We will of course try to help as best we can with any product we recommended, but the product owner is going to be the best person to give advice for their own product. Affiliate XI can't login to Affiliate X?Firstly upon ordering either Affiliate X or Website X, you should have received a welcome e-mail with details of your login. Please check your e-mail (and your "junk" and "spam" folders) for an e-mail marked "Your Affiliate X Login". This e-mail will contain your username and password, and then you can login here. If you haven't found any such e-mail, please use the password reminder function here. That should resend your e-mail. Please be aware The Affiliate X account process happens automatically and instantly when you order from ClickBank. Our software uses the email you used when ordering from ClickBank as your account e-mail so please check that e-mail for your login info. What's the difference between Affiliate X & Affiliate X Pro?There are several major features that only Affiliate X Pro members can use:
If you are not sure if you are a pro member, please login and visit the "ClickBank Hot 100" page - if you see all 100 products, you are a Pro member. Please refer to the "make money" page to start using all that your membership has to offer. I'm a beginner and am having trouble understanding how to get started with my Affiliate X?Firstlly, please return to your e-mail account and look for e-mails from us around the time you ordered, along with a receipt e-mail from ClickBank. Inside the receipt e-mail, there should be a link next to "vendor site" would should include a link you can return to, to access your download page. On this page, there is a "getting started" video which will explain the basics of the site (along with other content you can download). Secondly, a central part of Affiliate X is the affiliatex.com site itself - and this video will explain how the site works. Thirdly, and most importantly of all, if you login at http://affiliatex.com/login and click on "make money" at the top of the page, you will be sent to a page with our 3 core methods for making money with Affiliate X. These are methods which are profitable and accessible to the average affiliate. And they also lead you into other features of the site, including our software tools, and additional training, which is why I recommend you start here. Website XI'm a beginner and am having trouble understanding how to get started with my website?Your first step is to return to the e-mail we sent you upon buying your website. This should explain the setup process. Upon ordering you should also have received an e-mail with the subject header "Your Website is ready". This e-mail contains your login info for Affiliate X, along with details of how you can access the site. Please login to AffiliateX.com and click on the "my profile" link in the top right hand corner (or "my websites") and start the signup process. I have bought my website, but now it's asking me to upgrade - but upgrade to what? - OR - I bought Website X and am wondering, do I also have access to Affiliate X?Just to clarify, Affiliate X Pro & Website X are 2 separate products. However, when you buy your website, we give you access to a "lite" Affiliate X membership which has more features than the public sees, but still has some limitations when compared to the Pro Affiliate X membership (such as partial access to our database, no access to the keyword software etc). Website X customers can use their Affiliate X membership to manage their websites (and setup their first website). Just login here and click on "my websites" in the top right hand corner. So website customers will still want to login to AffiliateX and make use of the additional features. That said, you may want to upgrade to Affiliate X to get access to all of the Pro account features. How do I add content (ads, profitable campaigns) to my website?One of the main benefits of your website is the automated content we provide via our "Ads By X" system. For further help using that, please go to the Ads By X site here. How do I get traffic to my website?We show you exactly how to do this. If you login at http://affiliatex.com/login and click on "make money" at the top, you will be sent to a page with our 3 core methods. We are also in the process of beta-testing a new system called "Auto Traffic X", which will provide you with completely automated traffic and back-links to your site. If you are interested in this, please open up a support ticket below marked "AUTO TRAFFIC X". How can I make changes to my website?Firstly, please note that upon setting up your website we will send you an e-mail marked "Your own Website Login details yoursite.com - please keep in a safe place". Inside this email, there are several usernames and passwords. The most important login info inside this e-mail, the one you really need to pay attention to, relates to your wordpress page (the section with yoursite.com/wp-admin and then a username and password). WordPress is essentially the administrative control center for managing your website. So, please start by logging in to your WordPress admin at http://yoursite.com/wp-admin (where yoursite.com is your website name). Here are some of the likely changes you may want to make to your website: - Adding new posts / pages To add new pages, please click on the "new post" icon in the top right hand corner inside your WordPress admin panel. You can add "ads by x" pages here if you like - click here for our "Ads By X" service which will allow you to add new content to your website. - Editing your sidebar images To edit and replace the images that appear on the right hand side of your WordPress panel, please login to your WP admin and scroll to the bottom left, and click "my theme". Then under this, click on "sidebar ads". Here, you can edit and replace your ad with code from Ads By X. - Editing your header image To replace your header image, login to your WP admin and on the left hand side click "appearance" then "header" and choose a new header (or upload one of your own). - Editing your "site title" and "tagline" To change the title and tagline of your site (the text that appears at the top of every page), login to your WP admin and on the left hand side click "settings" and then "general". - My website doesn't appear to be loading? Typically, setting up your website can take as little as an hour - but in some cases can take up to 24 hours. This is down to a process called "domain propogation" which is basically a fancy way of saying we need to let all the "servers" (Internet computers) in the world know that your dot.com website has been setup so everyone can see it. In the meantime, while you wait for your domain and website to setup, you should take the time to review the training information. You should also have been given access to a temporary address for your website, which can you use while you wait for yoursite.com to go fully live. If, after 24 hours, your website is not loading, please open a support ticket below. - I updated WordPress and my "right hand panel" disappeared? Please see the post here for an explanation of this. Please make these changes to bring your panel back. If this still does not work, please open a support ticket below and we will do our best to help. - What do all these logins mean? Cpanel, Wordpress login, FTP etc.. WordPress, as discussed above, is the central system for managing and editing your website - you can use this to add new pages, change layout, and promote new affiliate programs etc. CPanel is the central panel for managing your domain and your hosting account - you can use this to create new email addresses (you@yoursite.com), check on your web stats, and much more. FTP is one way you can transfer files to and from your server (for example if you wanted to use your server to store your own personal files). If you're not very technical, we advise you to focus on your WordPress admin, and perhaps try to look at CPanel when you feel up for it. Please note that we've designed your website to be as hands-free as possible - and you don't need all of these logins to run your site. Really the only one you need is WordPress.
